Refund Policy
1. What We Sell
BetaBlocker sells a one-time digital licence for a sub account. Upon successful payment, a unique cryptographic licence token is generated and delivered immediately. This token grants permanent access to the BetaBlocker sub experience within our software.
2. Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumers)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. However, by proceeding to create your account and receiving your licence token, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are requesting immediate performance of the contract
- You understand that your right to cancel will be lost once the digital content has been delivered and you have begun using it
This is consistent with Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations, which permits waiver of cancellation rights for digital content delivered immediately upon purchase.
3. When We Will Issue Refunds
We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:
- You were charged but never received your licence token due to a technical error
- Your username was taken between placing your order and payment completing, and we were unable to issue a token for your chosen name
- The software has a significant defect that prevents it from functioning as described, and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable period
- You were charged more than once for the same account
4. When We Will Not Issue Refunds
- Your licence token has been successfully delivered and activated on a device
- You changed your mind after activating your account
- You chose a username you later decided you didn't want (usernames are clearly stated as permanent before purchase)
- The software works as described but does not meet your personal expectations
- Your account was suspended due to a breach of our terms of use
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us at support@betablocker.co with:
- Your username
- Your Stripe payment reference (found in your payment confirmation email)
- A description of the issue
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
